With more than three decades at Bally Total Fitness, Earl has earned a reputation as an excellent negotiator, working diligently with front line employees, executives, and handling all aspects of the company’s business transactions. At its peak, Bally operated over 400 fitness centers in 29 states and Canada and employed over 20,000 employees servicing over 4 million members. In 1990, Earl spearheaded the nationwide development, implementation, administration and supervision of the Bally Employment Dispute Resolution Procedure, an ADR program which resulted in the prompt, efficient and voluntary resolution of virtually all future employment disputes.
